Die Kanadische Einwanderungsbestimmung definiert einen Investor
als einen Einwanderer, der ein Unternehmen erfolgreich geführt,
kontrolliert oder geleitet hat und eine Investition von CAN$ 800,000
tätigen möchte. Der Investor muß über ein Vermögen von mindestens
CAN $ 1,600,000 verfügen. Das Vermögen muß erarbeitet sein, nicht ererbt.
Canada’s Immigration Regulations define an investor as "immigrant:
who has successfully operated, controlled or directed a business,
who indicates to the Minister in writing, that he intends to make
an investment of CDN $ 800,000, and who has a net worth, accumulated
by the immigrant’s own endeavours, of at least CDN $ 1,600,000".
